How to interpret DBL when displayed on the FPD-7024 or D7024.
The DBL display on FPD-7024 or D7024 panel types is indicating an item is ‘Disabled’.

In the display example above DBL is indicating point 001 has been disabled. The DBL display is often misunderstood to indicate ‘double’ however indicates ‘Disabled’.
The steps below describe the process of Disabling and Enabling inputs, outputs and the dialer.
Press the key (version 1.06+) or press Disable (1.03 and earlier)to Disable or Enable input points, outputs, or the dialer. When a device is disabled the system shows a trouble condition and either DBL or Disabled on on the LCD display. Disabling or Enabling inputs takes several seconds to perform, during which time the system display remains fixed.
Press and select 1) Disable or 2) Disable.
Select Inputs, Outputs or Dialer, and follow the prompts to enable inputs, outputs or the dialer.
Perform the above process in reverse by selecting Enable instead of Disable.
