Issue If using the D220A on the D2112 do I have the Exit Feature? Solution No, the D2112 does not have the Exit Feature. It uses the "Step Out Feature". The Exit Feature does appear on page 23 of the Users Guide, but that is because this Keypad can also be used on other 2000 Series Panels which have the Exit Feature.

Issue Can I mix Heat Detectors and 2 wire smokes with a sounder when using a D132A Smoke Detector Polarity Reversing Module? Solution No. When a Heat detector goes into alarm it puts a short on the input zone to indicate the alarm. The D132A uses Aux power from the panel when the polarity reversal takes place and since a heat detector does not reset when polarity is reversed, it would put a direct short on the Aux power of the panel. Consequently everything connected to the same Aux power terminals would not function.
