Why does the Image posting to a Dropbox™ account stop functioning after 4 hours?
This is mainly due to the change in the Dropbox™ security policy. Starting on September 30th 2021, Dropbox™ has changed to short-lived access tokens, which expire after four hours. This means that if the Bosch IP cameras has configured a Dropbox™ account to store the Image Posting files to a Dropbox™ account, the connectivity to the Dropbox™ will become invalid after 4 hours due to the expired token.
Affected platform : CPP 4, CPP 6, CPP 7, CPP 7.3, CPP-ENC
An alternative solution is to setup a local FTP server and store the Image Posting to the FTP Server.
One of the free FTP solution can be FileZilla Server which is a free open source FTP and FTPS Server.

Starting with FW 7.86, the support for Dropbox has been removed and the Dropbox items have been removed from the WebGUI and CM.
This applies on the CPP6, CPP7 and CPP7.3 Bosch cameras.
For other CPP cameras, the Authentication button is not accessible anymore. The following privacy message is displayed:
