    From this article you will find out how to set up the IP Matrix configuration on the VIDEOJET decoder 7000 (VJD-7513) using Configuration Manager.   The built-in IP Matrix functionality, together with a connected keyboard, allows VIDEOJET decoder 7000 to run as a stand-alone system. An operator can manage up to 32 cameras via the keyboard without any PC or management system required. System setup is quickly done with Configuration Manager. After that, no PC is required to run the IP Matrix   Note: According to the Release letter (Firmware 9.51) of VJD-7513, VIDEOJET decoder 7000 supports IP Matrix application as built-in feature. According to the Release letter (Firmware 54.8.02) of VJD-7000, IP matrix remote monitor is only possible with UDP. TCP not supported. ** VJD-7000 can be used as an extended monitor to IP Matrix in single and quad view.     It is possible to add ONVIF compliant cameras to Bosch Video Management System as live only devices or as VSG devices (then the cameras will also record). This article explains how to add an ONVIF camera as VSG device in full Bosch Video Management System (BVMS 10.1). We recommend using Bosch Workstations and Servers.     In Cloud-based Services, different 'Actions' can be configured for automatic processing as well as manual action for the operators (Alarm Agents). There are 2 different options how an action is processed: An 'Automatic Action' is processed automatically when the related Service Scenario is performed. An 'Intervention Action' is executed manually by an operator from the Cloud-based Service Operator Interface. This note shows available actions in Cloud-based Services and provides a step by step instruction to configure these actions.   Step-by-step guide   1. Send e-mail "Send e-mail" sends an e-mail notification to the configured recipient(s). The action can be used as manual action for the operators (Intervention Action). The content of the alarm email can be configured to the customer's needs.   To configure a "Send e-mail" action, perform the following steps: 1. Open Cloud-based Services Configuration website (/config), log in as Integrator or Config Agent. 2. Enter the related Account. 3. Click tab 'Actions'. 4. Click '+' button to add an action. 5. Give the action a descriptive name and select 'Email'. 6. Type recipients, CC's, mail subject and message. Use the pull down to enter environment variables to the e-mail text. 7. Click 'Create'. 8. Add the action to a Service Scenario for processing.   2. Execute PTZ Command "Execute PTZ Command" starts an auxiliary command on a Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera. The action can be used for automatic processing (Automatic Action) as well as manual action for the operators (Intervention Action). Note the available auxiliary commands in the camera’s manual. To configure an "Execute PTZ Command" action, perform the following steps: 1. Open Cloud-based Services Configuration website (/config), log in as Integrator or Config Agent. 2. Enter the related Account. 3. Click tab 'Actions'. 4. Click '+' button to add an action. 5. Give the action a descriptive name and select 'Execute PTZ Command'. 6. Select PTZ camera, select auxiliary command and type the command No. 7. Click 'Create'. 8. Add the action to a Service Scenario for processing   3. Go to PTZ Preposition "Go to PTZ Preposition" moves a Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera to a preposition. The action can be used for automatic processing (Automatic Action) as well as manual action for the operators (Intervention Action). The prepositions (shots) need to be configured via the Device Page upfront. To configure a "Go to PTZ Preposition" action, perform the following steps: 1. Open Cloud-based Services Configuration website (/config), log in as Integrator or Config Agent. 2. Enter the related Account. 3. Click tab 'Actions'. 4. Click '+' button to add an action. 5. Give the action a descriptive name and select 'Go to PTZ preposition'. 6. Select PTZ camera and type the preposition No. 7. Click 'Create'. 8. Add the action to a Service Scenario for processing.   4. Play Audio on Device "Play Audio on Device" replays an audio file directly from the device's loudspeaker. The action is intended to perform standard audio interventions without the need for the operator (alarm agent) to talk. "Play Audio on Device" can be used for automatic processing (Automatic Action) as well as manual action for the operators (Intervention Action). Audio files need to be prepared and installed by CBS development. If you want to use your own audio files, please get in contact with technical support. To configure a "Play Audio on Device" action, perform the following steps: 1. Open Cloud-based Services Configuration website (/config), log in as Integrator or Config Agent. 2. Enter the related Account. 3. Click tab 'Actions'. 4. Click '+' button to add an Action. 5. Give the Action a descriptive name and select 'Play audio on device'. 6. Select the audio device and select the audio file. 7. Click 'Create'. 8. Add the action to a Service Scenario for processing.   5. Switch Relay "Switch Relay" switches a relay of one or more IP devices. The action can be used for automatic processing (Automatic Action) as well as manual action for the operators (Intervention Action). To configure a "Switch Relay" action, perform the following steps: 1. Open Cloud-based Services Configuration website (/config), log in as Integrator or Config Agent. 2. Enter the related Account 3. Click tab 'Actions'. 4. Click '+' button to add an action. 5. Give the action a descriptive name and select 'Relay'. 6. Select activation mode and select one or more relays to switch. 7. Click 'Create'. 8. Add the action to a Service Scenario for processing.   6.     The Windows Storage Server operating system of DIVAR IP all - in - one 7 000  is  installed on a two SSD drives in redundant (mirrored) configuration. Health status of  the mirrored OS drives can be monitored using a tool called Virtual RAID on CPU  (formerly known as Rapid Storage Technology). Installation and configuration steps  are described below. Step-by-step guide   1. Genetec is sending encrypted secret to the VRM server with the number of the licensed channels. When VRM receives and validates this, it can be used for that number of channels for 24 h. A periodic license update is send by Genetec, so the VRM licensing is guaranteed as long as it is used with Genetec Security Center. Default settings, if not extra configuration is needed or done. -License for 1000 Cameras - License update is done every hour   How to license more than 1000 cameras or change the license update period for VRM within Genetec Security Center: Open the Config Tool and Launch a Video Task Select the Archiver Go to the Resource Tab and click on Extensions From the Tab Installed extensions select Bosch. In the Tab VRM add a new VRM and/or select already configured VRM. Click on Advanced settings and add the following parameters If you need to license the system with more than the default 1000 licenses – create the parameter with Name VrmLicenseRequestCount and as value put the required number of licenses. The parameter name is case sensitive If you need to change the duration of the period between each license request (there is always one license request when the archiver starts) – create the parameter with Name VrmLicenseRequestPeriod. The duration of the period is in milliseconds. The default value is one hour. If the value is set to 0, the license request are disabled. The parameter name is case sensitive     Press Enter to confirm the entry and then Close Press Apply and then OK. At the webpage of the VRM one can check if the number of licenses is changed.

    The   Clear   button on the   Configuration Manager   is designed to clear the codes that are self-generated by the IP firmware or the Configuration Manager itself. Follow the steps below, if you want the "Clear" button from Configuration Manager to able to erase the Alarm task script that are self created by users themselves.   Step-by-step guide   When you create your alarm task script, add it within an opening quotes which then the   Clear   button will be able to erase all those codes within the quotes. Alternatively, create your own quotes within your script by following the below rules. In the  Below example,   //{{MyScript_start   is inserted before any script and   //}}Myscript_end   is inserted at the end of the script. By doing this, the   Clear   button will now be able to recognize and detect the manual scripts created by user and erase them.   Example: //{{Myscript_start ControlCode auxon1:={Operation(AuxOn)Number(1)}; if(Motion(1))then auxon1; //r1_o1 //}}Myscript_end

    This article shows how to configure Input Alarm and later search for them in the Event search using Web Interface. There are only 3 different search parameters for Event type search, which are "All", "Motion" and "Alarm". Once can search for any alarms during the set time period and channel and in this way indirectly to filter for Input Alarm (if only Input Alarm triggers Recording for a particular channel). It is not possible to directly narrow the search for particular Alarm type (ex. Input alarm).
