    In this article you can find the actions you need to do in order to solve the zoom speed for Autodome NDP-7512. A customer could observe a difference in zoom speed in comparison to the previous generation. HDR was OFF by default in the 7000, But is ON by Default in the 7000i which has effect on the zoom speed. Therefore, disable HDR to obtain the zoom speeds that match the previous generation of the camera.

    By default all cameras/encoders added to BVMS will be configured to start NTP synchronization against the Operating System of the Management server. Whenever a central NTP Server is available the recommendation is to   synchronize all cameras against the NTP central server.   In BVMS ≥ 11 there is a new configuration option.

    S imple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a common protocol to monitor the health status of a system. Such a monitoring system typically has a central management server that collect all the data from the system’s compatible components and devices. A network management server can poll the health status of a device via SNMP requests. This article shows how to configure Bosch cameras in order to be able to answer to such requests. Note: Please keep in mind that for SNMP v3 only the the Standard MIB II file is supported. This means that only general network device performance monitoring parameters can be requested.     The default SMTP port number for Bosch IP cameras is 25. The required SMTP port can differ depending on the service provider. From FW 5.80.0073 onwards it is possible to change the SMTP port using Alarm Task Script Language (ATSL).     Sometimes it is preferable to have a different “user mode” during the day then in the night. Our cameras by default have the option to switch the user mode e.g. triggered by the camera D/N switch over. But also other triggers can be chosen. Below an example how to setup the “user mode” switching triggered by the D/N switch over.
