Possible causes and solution(s)
SSD drives failing on a Divar IP 7000 R2 with BVMS 7.x after some months of working well.
Divar IP 7000 R2 (with OS on SSD) and BVMS 7.x (e.g. BVMS 7.5). Condition must be that the BVMS Operator Client is started and used on the DIVAR IP 7000 R2.
On a Divar IP 7000 R2 using SSD drives for the Operating System under some circumstances Windows OS is writing page files on the local SSDs. This causes a high amount of writes/reads on the SSD. As SSD drives technically have a limited life time - maximum number of writes - after a while the SSDs are failing.
Bosch optimized the memory handling for BVMS 7.5 to prevent this behaviour and offers a patch to download and istall this patch on the DIVAR IP 7000 R2 with SSD drives.

The effect cannot occur with BVMS 8.0 and newer versions. In BVMS 8.0 and newer enhancements are implemented to solve this. Please be aware that the patch is available for BVMS 7.5 only. Status of today (2018-09-11) maintenance for BVMS aspects is offered for the last three versions. e.g. BVMS 9.0, BVMS 8.0 and BVMS 7.5. As the patch is only relevant for BVMS 7.5 and earlier versions, the patch is offered for BVMS 7.5. For BVMS version 7.0 and previous versions no patch is available.
