How Diagnose Fire Dirty on Non Smoke Head MUX Device

Issue

Keypad is showing FIRE DRTY PT ### but that point number is a single input module.

Solution

The most likely cause of a single input or dual input point showing dirty on the keypad is if it was incorrectly programmed as a mux smoke.  To change this, follow these directions:

1. Go into program mode at the panel
2. Choose 9 for Program Mux
3. Choose 1 for Mux Edit
4. If the module is a single input module, choose 2 for Single Input; or if it is a dual input module, choose 6 for Dual Input.
5. Press Clear (*) Back repeatedly to exit program mode.
