What is the largest battery backup the 7000/9000 series panels can charge?
Solution
The 7000/9000 series panels can handle two 18Ah batteries, a D113 can be used to supervise both batteries. If more back up power is required you will need a D8132 battery charger with another D113 battery supervision module, Adding the D8132 will allow you to add two addition 12Ah batteries bringing the total to 60Ah of standby.
Note: The D113 is required for all fire applications where more than one battery is necessary to obtain adequate backup battery power.
Note: The 7000/9000 series panels include the D7212, D7412, D9112, D9124, D9412, D7212G, D7412G, and D9412G. To determine, lift metal cover on control communicator. 7000/9000 series panels have square eeprom chip with a firmware revision of 5.0 or higher.
