Why does the central station receive a Point Trouble event for AC Fail, but the panel history only displays Point Trouble, No AC Fail event? With the panel, AC Tag Along is set to Yes and AC Fail Time is set to 60:00.
Answer
This will happen in a situation where the AC failure restores before the programmed AC Fail Time expires. For example, if the AC Fail Time is set to 60:00 in the panel and the AC fails for only out for 20 minutes before restoring, an AC Fail message will not be recorded in the panel's history log or report to the CS.
