How to set up a local panel when using the D7024 or DS9400.
Solution
- Enter programming by using the default code of 0 - 9876 or what ever the programming code is for that particular account and choose "6" for program accounts.
- Press "1" for phone numbers, Press "1" for phone #1, and press "2" for format.
- 3. Set format to "0" to disable. Press the clear or star button and repeat for phone # 2. Disabling the format by setting to 0 will stop Comm. Faults. Using the clear button to back out of programming, back out to the prog. accounts menu. Choose option 2 for phone control, press 1 for line 1.And choose 1 for monitor, then choose 0 to disable. Press clear and repeat for line 2. Disabling phone monitor will stop phone troubles from being generated at the keypad.
