Issue
The D7036 keypad displays "INVALID PIN" every time a button is pressed.
Solution
You must add the PIN used by the D7036 to the panel, and assign an authority level:
- Enter program mode by pressing [0] and then entering the programmer's PIN (the default programmer's PIN is 9876).
- Press [2] to choose Security.
- Press [1] to choose PINs.
- Press [2] to choose User PINS.
- Enter a user number that is not already in use, then press [#].
- Enter [9436] for the PIN and then press [#].
- Press [*] twice to return to the Security menu.
- Press [2] to choose Authority.
- Enter the same user number that you created in step 5.
- Press [2] to choose Medium.
Press [*] three times to exit programming mode.
