How to Define OCT Relay Fault on DS7400 Series Keypads

Issue

The keypad displays Oct. Relay Fault.

Solution

Probable Cause

1. The octal relay module (DS7488) is defective or the wiring to the module is defective.
2. There is not a DS7488 or a DS7488 has been removed from the system.

Possible Solution

1. Check the wiring to the module.

Enter the programming mode. This will rescan the options bus and clear the problem.
