How to Enable/Disable Inputs, Outputs, and Dialer on DS9400 Series & 7024 Series Panels

Issue

Can the points, outputs and dialer be enabled and disabled from RPS?

Solution

No, This can only be done from the panel or a keypad attached to the panel.

If any of the hard wire points are disabled then follow the steps below to enable points 1-8.

Mux points 9 - 255 can be enabled using the "all" command if points 1 - 8 are enabled individually first.

1. To Enable Points Press the Disable Button on the keypad.
2. Press 2 Enable
3. Press 1 Inputs
4. Press 2 Individual
5. Enter the point # (001 - 255) follow by #
6. Repeat steps 3 – 5 until Points 1 -8 are enabled
7. Press 1 Inputs
8. Press 1 All
9. Press the * Clear Button 4 times

Follow the steps as above to enable Dialer - NAC's and Relays.
