Overview
Start in Firmware 6.30 the First G-Series panel, the account number was expanded to ten digits.
Issue
If the account number to be used on a 9000/7000/G series panel is only 4 digits, should those 4 digits be entered in Dgt 1&2, and Dgt 3&4, or should they be entered in Dgt 7&8 and Dgt 9&10 in the 9000MAIN handler?
Solution
Enter 4 digit account numbers in the last 4 digits – Dgt 7&8 and Dgt 9&10. The receiver will read the account as 0000001234 and will drop the leading 000000, reporting as acount 1234. If the account numbers are entered in Dgt 1&2 and Dgt 3&4, the account number will be reported as 1234000000. If the receiver does not accept a 10 digit account number, the receiver will read the account as 0000.
