Issue
D7024 or DS9400 NAC outputs don't activate on waterflow.
Solution
By default, the D7024 and DS9400 has the NAC outputs programmed to only activate on a fire alarm, not waterflow. To make the NACs activate for both fire alarms and waterflow alarms, program the NACs to follow output zones 53 and 61. Here is how to set that from the keypad:
- After getting into program mode, choose option 5 - Program Outputs.
- Choose option 1 - NACs
- Choose either Local, if you want to program the onboard NACs, or Remote 1 or Remote 2, if you want to program the outputs of a D7038 or DS9484 power supply that is connected via the option bus.
- Choose the NAC output that you would like to program
- Choose option 3 - Zone Assigns
- Set Output Zone A, or make sure it is set, to 53 and then press #/Command
- Set Output Zone B to 61 and then press #/Command.
- For Output Zones C and D, set them to 00 and then press #/Command
