When installing an FDP-7024, FPA-1000, FPA-1000-UL, or FPA-1000-V2 Fire Panel with IP as the primary communications path and a phone line backup, plug the phone into Line 1. However, if plugged in to Line 2 it will still work but it will delay the report because the fire panel will try Line 1 twice before dialing Line 2. And you will have a Phone Line Trouble if monitor phone line 1 is enabled.
