Issue
In Relay Parameters under Panel Wide Relays or Area Wide Relays, can two relays be programmed to activate on a single event?
Solution
Only one relay can be selected for any single event under Relay Parameters.
If it is necessary to activate additional relays for a single event, additional Form C relays can be integrated for additional functions. A single entry is made in Relay Parameters for the desired event and using the selected relay, power then can be applied to an additional Form C relay (such as a D130, D133 or D134).
For example, the A or B relays will provide +12Vdc when activated. To use relay A to activate a number of D130 form C relays, connect the D130 coil (+) to relay A, and it's coil (-) lead to panel common. The D130 relays will activate whenever the event programmed to activate relay A occurs, when relay A deactivates the connected D130 relays will also deactivate.
The same can be done using Octorelays. Connect the D130 coil (+) to the Octorelay common leg and its (-) lead to panel common. Connect the Octorelay Normally Open leg to +12Vdc and whenever the numbered Octorelay activates it will provide +12Vdc to the D130 causing it to activate its contacts.
