Issue
How does the D7030X/D7032 work?
Solution
The D7024 panel is capable of eight D7030X and eight D7032 modules that will give the user two overlapping groups.
The second set will trip the same output zones - this gives the user two sets or 2 D7030X/D7032 that will be assigned to the same output zones.
Example: A customer is using eight of the D7030X LED Annunciators. The D7024 panel is only capable of 51 output zones that can be linked to inputs on the panel, since 52-63 is globally assigned or not used by the panel. If a customer is using 9 output zones on MUX A for various shutdown and output activity and 1 output zone to cover the rest of the points that are not tripping relays then 41 LED's max can be used on mux B.
Using the example above, a customer can have:
*When adding the D7030X combinations to the options bus, the first option bus address that is not being used will be assigned to the first D7030X and will automatically cover output zones 1-8 or 1-16 if the D7032 is attached to the D7030X.
