While in Fire Walk Test, will the control panel reset after each trip and sound the bells briefly?
Solution
Yes. CMD 58, if enabled, will do this for the D8112 control panels, all D7000/D9000 Series control panels, and the G/GV2 Series control panels.
The D7024, DS9400 Series, and FPD-7024 to start Fire Walk press TEST select option 1 WALK TEST. You then choose Long Bell Activation, Short Bell Activation, or No Bell Activation. For more information on the D7024 Walk Test, refer to the solution entitled Walk Test on a D7024.
