The customer has 4 D8024 panels networked, and they want to add the graphic software to the system. The problem is the port needed to run the graphic software is used for networking the panels.
Can both cards, the D9051 and the D9052 use port C to network, as well as use data link graphic software? Is there any configuration that can accomplish this requirement with the D8024?
Solution
No. The D8024 cannot simultaneously network and output to the D9052 RS-232 Bus Module. Only one application can be supported at a time. If the D8024 is connected to a graphics data link, then it cannot be connected in a network.
