What are the onboard zones on a D9124 used for?
Solution
In the default configuration, as it is shipped, the first six onboard zones are not being used and the wires connected to them act as resistors to strap them out.
Zone 7 is being used to monitor the two D192C bell supervision cards. Zone 7 will be shorted when there is a trouble on either of the D192C cards.
Zone 8 is being used to monitor the trouble contacts on the 24VDC power supply. Zone 8 will be shorted when there is a trouble on the power supply.
