Question- What happens if a point is programmed / configured as a "GENERIC" point type?
Answer - "GENERIC" Point Type Operation
Open Condition - Will activate trouble tone, the panel keypad will display trouble and a trouble report is sent to Central Station.
Short Condition - The alarm report is sent to Central Station, the panel keypad will not display or activate sounders for this type of alarm.
The point works as a silent alarm point when programmed / configured as GENERIC point type.
