Issue
When trying to connect using a D5360, a message comes up that says, "Invalid Ram Passcode".
Solution
Check the following parameters:
- The EPROM Revision of the panel needs to be 5.XX or higher.
- Make sure the reset pin is locked down
- Make sure the computer's AC adapter is not connected to a 110 volt outlet. Run the laptop on battery when using the D5360.
- It may be necessary to remove the field keypads from the SDI terminals to eliminate possible field noise.
- If the panel is registering a ground fault when the D5360 is connected, then unlock switch S4 on the panel and try again.
- Make sure the correct com port is selected
- Make sure 'Direct Connect' is selected before connecting to the panel
