How to Wire the D293 Sounder Base

 Issue

The literature does not show or mention how to wire the D293S. It lists several other bases and their wiring but not the D293S.

Solution

The correct part number for the install literature for the D293S is 31343C. It wires as a 6 wire base. 2 wires for Power 12 or 24 VDC, 2 for Alarm Loop and 2 for the Sounder. The sounder needs 12 - 30 VDC power to activate and is wired as a NAC CKT for most applications.
