What does it mean when the panel displays Device Added?
Solution
Device Added means that a device has been added to the loop displayed and at the address displayed on the panel, but that loop has not been auto learned or the auto learn that has been performed did not find add the device.
If an auto learn has been performed but the panel did not add the device, check to make sure that the device is not faulted - either alarm or trouble. If it is not faulted, try connecting it to the polling loop terminals right at the panel to see if the panel will add it then.
