Can the control panel be programmed to only send fire reports to the central station?
Solution
Yes.Routing lets you select full event groups or partial event groups that you can send to up to four different destinations. Routing includes identifying which destination is the most important one, (Route #), which events are reported to a single destination or multiple destinations, and if the events fail, which backup destination is selected.
Use the following steps to change your control panel's routing programming:
- From a D5200 Programmer, go to 9000MAIN>PANEL WIDE PARAMETERS.
- Press the arrow down to VIEW EVENTS.
- Press the Space bar to change the setting from NO to YES. Press Enter. Doing this provides visibility to the reporting sub-prompts.
Change the value from YES to NO for all events that do not require reporting to the central station. Leave the value set to YES, or change from NO to YES as needed, for the events that do require reporting to the central station.
