How to stop the DS7400 Keypad from Beeping Every 10 Seconds

Issue

The keypad on the DS7400 panel is beeping once every 10 seconds for no apparent reason.

Solution

For the DS7400XI VER.1 panel

1. Master code + #80
2. Enter and exit program mode - Default  code to do this is 9876#0
3. Try cycling power to the panel.

For all other DS7400XI panels VER. 2, 3, and 4

1. Master Code + system reset or
2. Try entering programming mode then exiting programming mode  Default  code to do this is 9876#0 or
3. 3. Try cycling power to the panel.
