How are passcodes changed or added in the DS7090, DS7090i?
Solution
Enter Programming mode on panel by entering [Installer's code] + [#] [0]. (The default installers code is 9,8,7,6,5).
Enter address 84, the user number, authority code and passcode in the following format:
84,AA,B,CCCCC,#
84= address for passcodes
AA= User number 01-15
B= Authority level
0= Service Code, all privileges, always reports
1= Master Code, passcode changes, arm, disarm, force arm, bypass and system test
2= Arm, disarm, force arm, bypass and system test
3= Arm, disarm, force arm, bypass
4= Arm, disarm
5= Temporary code- Arm, disarm
6= Arm only, force arm and bypass
7= Arm only
8= Temporary code arm only
9= Access code. Operates Aux relay
#= Will delete this user's user code
CCCCC= a 1-5 digit passcode
B.) FROM MASTER CODE PROGRAMMING MODE:
1) Enter Master Code Programming Mode by entering [Master Code] + [#] [0]
2) Enter User number (01-15)
3) Enter Authority Level (See list above)
4) Enter the User Code + [#]
Notes
-Codes can be from 1 to 5 digits, it is recommended to use at least 3 digits.
-Codes can be turned off in Master Code Programming by entering the user code to be cancelled followed by [#]
