Two-Wire Smoke Detectors
Two-wire smoke detectors must be evaluated for electrical compatibility and be UL Listed for use with the D6412/D4412.
Two-Wire Detector Specifications
The voltage range listed below is not intended for use by the installing company to determine compatibility. Voltage Range 8.0 VDC to 14.0 VDC. UL Compatibility Identifier Type B.
The control unit does not differentiate between multiple detectors in alarm. Detectors from different manufacturers must not be mixed on the same circuit. NFPA Style A (Class B) Circuit.
Sensor Loop 1 on the D6412/D4412 Control/Communicators is a NFPA Style A (Class B) Initiating Circuit suitable for connection of any fire alarm initiating device, including two-wire smoke detectors.
