BYPASS A POINT with COMMAND 0
Issue
How do I bypass a Point?
1.) Ensure that your command center is at disarmed idle text.
2.) Press the COMMAND bar. The display shows SYSTEM COMMAND.
3.) Press the [0] key.
NOTE: If you prefer, you may use the Command Menu instead of Steps 2 and 3 to initiate this function. Press the MENU key to enter the Command Menu, then press NEXT repeatedly until you reach the BYPASS A POINT ? prompt. Press ENT.
4.) The display shows ENTER PT NUM. If you know the point number you wish to bypass, enter the number and press ENT. A description of the point type is displayed, such as POINT ## @@@@@@ (where ## = the point number and @@@@@@ = point type). Press ENT again.
5.) To view a list of devices that can be bypassed, press the NEXT key when ENTER PT NUM is displayed. Press NEXT continuously to scroll through these devices. When the point text of the point you wish to bypass appears, press ENT.
6.) One of the following messages appears:
7.) You can return to idle text by pressing ESC.
8.) If the bypassed point is a 24-hour point, the message 24 HOUR BYPASS scrolls across the display. If the bypassed point is a fire point, the message FIREBYPASS scrolls across the display.
