When the following problem occurs, the solution is to upgrade the panel firmware.
With an interior point faulted, you cannot arm the control panel as Occupied. The control panel indicates that the point is not ready to arm, and that it will bypass the point.
Upgrading the Easy Series control panel to v3.1 firmware fixes this issue. Upgrade the control panel, and then
test the system by arming the system after faulting an interior point. Contact your local Bosch Security Systems, Inc. representative to obtain an upgrade key.
To clear this condition on Easy Series systems with v 3.0 firmware installed:
The control center announces “Point x is not ready. That point will be disabled. To turn on your system and
stay inside, present your token.” x = the point number. Do one of the following:
• Present the token to force arm the system.
• Wait for the PIR to clear (about 5 sec), or close the faulted point.
