- The D4412/D6412 will start an Entry Delay when arming Part-On when the Part Mode Delay Time parameter has been programmed with a non-0 value. The non-0 entry range is between 30 and 255 in 1 second increments.
- When an entry is made in the Part Mode Delay Time parameter in RPS, an Entry Delay time is created which will only apply when the system is armed Part-On. The default setting for Part Mode Delay Time is 0. Therefore faulting a point programmed as Armed for Part Mode, after the area was armed Part-On, would cause an instant alarm if this parameter was set to 0. A delay time would begin if a non-0 value was entered.
In RPS:
Part Mode Delay Time is programmed under Panel Wide Parameters and Global Open/Close Options and then Entry Exit Timers.
Programming from the Command Center:
Programming two Nibbles sets the Part Mode Delay Time. The system multiplies the number entered in the first Nibble by sixteen and adds that total with the number entered in the second Nibble. For example, to set Part Mode Delay Time to 50 seconds, enter 3 in the first Nibble (3 x 16 = 48) and then enter 2 for the second Nibble (48 + 2 = 50). Use the formula below to calculate the delay time for programming this parameter.
