Anyone of the following will clear the keypad message.
1) The next panel event.
2) Pressing a Key on the Command Center.
3) Doing a Reset Bye when Disconnecting from the panel.
NOTE:
Keypad Options Tab in RPS or RAM IV Diagnostic Mode.
The Keypad Options Tab allows you to view the keypad message and buzz the keypad for testing purposes.
Keypad Options Tab Fields · Message (Accepted value: 16 character string):
This cell displays the character string for the selected keypad. If you wish to change the keypad message:
Double-click on the cell that corresponds with the keypad whose message you wish to change.
The Keypad # Message screen appears.
Enter the new message (up to 16 characters) in the field provided. Click OK. Click Send to send the message to the keypad.
Click Cancel to exit the screen without changing the keypad message.
