The Alert Light flashing after disarming the DS7100 is an indication that a Special Area remains armed.
The DS7100 contol panel provides for a custom arming command (CMD 4, 5, or 6) to be programmed for arming a Special Area such as a drug storage area within a pharmacy. Special areas can only be disarmed by users 26-30.
The area is always armed along with the rest of the system with commands 1, 2, or 3, but may be armed separately by using the Custom Arming command.
User codes 26-30 will disarm the entire system while user codes 1-25 can only disarm the portion that does not include the Special Area.
