Go to Panel Wide Parameters and then Miscellaneous.
Set Daylight Savings Time= US Calendar.
The control panel will adjust its clock according to US daylight savings time rules.
GV3 control panels with firmware version 8.10 and greater and GV4 Ver1 control panels:
Go to AUXPARAM and Miscellaneous.
Set Daylight Savings Time= US Calendar.
The control panel will adjust its clock according to US daylight savings time rules.
GV3 Control Panels with firmware Version 8.09 and earlier, and all GV2 or G or Non-G type panels:
Legacy panels do not have automatic functionality to follow daylight savings time. A schedule is required to advance time in the spring and retard time in the fall. This schedule needs adjusting each year to follow daylight savings time rules.
Go to Schedules and Skeds, pick one of the 40 available skeds and program the function code:
13=Adjust Forward Time
14=Adjust Backward Time
US Daylight Savings Time rules are as follows:
• Begins at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday of March
• Ends at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of November
