How to restore Zone8 on the D7400 that won't clear even when strapped out with a 2.2K EOL.

Check the "JP1" jumper located on the right edge of the DS7400 board. If the "JP1" jumper is cut, a 27K EOL is required to terminate zone 8 on the panel.
Zone 8 can be configured to eliminate ground fault detection by cutting the jumper wire "JP1" on the control panel. This can be done to permit use of the Ademco AB-12 Bell/Housing, which will generate a ground fault on the DS7400 zone in a normal configuration.
When the jumper wire "JP1" on the control panel is cut, zone 8 must be terminated with a 27K ohm EOL.
When the jumper wire "JP1" is not cut, zone 8 must be terminated with a 2.2K ohm EOL.
