Issue:
The panel keypad is alternating between Please enter installer passcode and SERVICE MODE, and the heartbeat LED is flashing fast. The B940 or B942 keypad is also displaying the number pad.
Solution:
The panel is in Service Mode. Service mode is accessed by pressing and holding the Reset Button for approximately 10 seconds. Exit service mode by pressing and holding the reset button again for approximately 10 seconds or until the Heartbeat LED turns off. Release the reset button.
The Heartbeat LED will change states as the panel reboots. Once the reboot is complete the LED will blink once per ½ second as it resumes normal operation.
