The D1260 and D1265 are enhanced command centers which require the Enhanced Command Center parameter set to Yes. This settin can be modified from default using the below steps.
- Note:
- Keypad programming is only available on GV3 panel types with firmware version 8.10 and higher.
- Keypad programming must not be disabled in the panel program settings.
1. Use the following steps to set a D1265 command center address as Enhanced:
a. Set the D1265 to address 8 .
i. Press and hold the 0 button for at least 5 sec to access the set-up menu.
ii. Using the up and down arrows select address 8. Press Save followed by Back to exit the set-up menu.
b. Lock down the panel reset pin, S1.
c. Enter the installer passcode followed by enter, the default code is 123.
d. Select Keypad Programming.
e. Press Next, then Next again and select the Command Center menu option.
f. Enter the address to be used by the D1265 followed with Enter.
g. The D1265 responds with CC (x) Scope , No Device (or the currently programmed scope).
h. Press Type, will say Enhanced=No, press Edit, select Yes, then Enter.
i. Press Exit, and then Edit to edit the scope. Press next until the correct scope displays and then Enter to save.
j. Press Exit, and follow step [a.] to set the D1265 to the required address.
2. Use the following steps to set a D1260 command center address as Enhanced:
a. Set the D1260 to address 8 with switch setting 1,2,3 OFF and 4,5,6 to ON
b. Lock down the panel reset pin, S1.
c. Enter the installer passcode followed by enter, the default code is 123.
d. Select Keypad Programming
e. Press Next until menu item Command Center displays and select it
f. Enter the address to be used by the D1260 followed with Enter.
g. The D1260 will respond with CC (x) Scope , No Device (or the programmed scope).
h. Press Type, will say Enhanced=No, press Edit, select Yes, then Enter.
i. Press Exit, and then Edit to edit the scope. Press next until the correct scope displays and then Enter to save.
