A D5200 hand held programmer and the 636 HANDLER are required to program a D636A keypad.
- Connect a jumper from the reset post to ground on the control panel.
- Remove the keypad cover on the D636A exposing the dipswitches and the programmer connection on the D636A.
- Turn all dipswitches to the "OFF" position on the keypad.
- Plug the D5200 programmer into the 4 pin programmer connection on the keypad.
- Locate the 636 HANDLER on the D5200 and press ENTER GROUP. The cursor on the D5200 should be flashing on NEWRECORD.
- Hold down the 4 and 6 buttons on the D636A and turn dipswitch one to the ON position. This puts the keypad in the PROGRAMMING MODE.
- Press RECIEVE COPY on the D5200 and the program will be copied from the keypad.
- Make the required changes and press the SEND (LOAD) button.
- Remove the programmer from the keypad and turn all switches back on.
- Remove the jumper on the reset post and test panel for proper operation.
