Selecting Watch Tone
Your system gives you the ability to watch points when turned off, so it can be programmed to alert you to opened doors and windows. For example, parents with small children may want a tone sounded whenever a door or window is opened as a way of monitoring the whereabouts of the kids.
Use this feature to set the type of response your system produces when a watch point is faulted. For example, you may tell your system to blink a light and sound a short tone whenever certain doors or windows are opened.
Use Selecting Watch Points (on page 22) feature to specify which points in your system to be watched.
If you just want to review and not change the current watch tone setting, press the [7] key.
In this example, the current watch tone setting is Short Beep:

1- Off. Displays point identity, but sounds no tone when points are faulted.
2- Short Beep. Displays point identity and sounds a short tone when points are faulted.
3- Beep until Key. Displays point identity and sounds a tone until the [CLEAR] key is pressed.
4- Beep until Closed. Displays point identity and sounds a tone until the point is returned to normal (door or window is closed). Pressing the [CLEAR] key also silences the tone.After making your selection (for example, option 3), the display confirms the choice you made before returning to the off state:
