What causes the C900 VOLTAGE LOW and C900 VOLTAGE RESTORE messages at the D6600 or D6100i Receiver?
C900 (Battery/AC) VOLTAGE LOW message:
If the input voltage of the C900V2 module drops below 10.75 Vdc to 11 Vdc, the module sends this message.
If the input voltage of the C900V2 module rises above 11 Vdc, the module sends a restoral (for example, C900 VOLTAGE RESTORE).
Note: Some control panels cannot supply enough current for the C900V2 module, which causes the control panel’s voltage to be overdrawn. When this happens, the DC voltage output from the control panel drops below this threshold. It is advisable to ensure that a dedicated UL-listed power supply is used to ensure that enough power is supplied to the C900V2 module in this scenario.
