How to upgrade the D8112 and use existing Popit addresses and/or Popits.

When converting D8112 panels to GV2 panels (D7212GV2, D7412GV2 or D9412GV2), Popit modules and POPEX interface modules must first be verified for compatibility by checking date codes. D8126 POPITs, which are the older and larger type (about 3.5" x 2.5") are not compatible with GV2 panels. D8127 POPITs, which look the same as D9127 POPITs except without a 0 dip switch, are compatible provided they are date code 9344 or newer. The D8125 POPEX is compatible provided it is date code 9434 or newer. Dip switch settings from existing POPITs on D8112 panels can remain unchanged on the replacement GV2 panel by using the translation charts below.
Existing POPITs and dipswitch settings on D8112 panels can be used on GV2 Series panels. D8112 panels are configured for either Horizontal Mode=Yes or Horizontal Mode=No. This setting must first be determined first before converting POPITs and switch settings to the GV2 panel. There are different tables for converting panels using Horizontal Mode=Yes or Horizontal Mode=No and the correct table must be used to properly convert the popits.
Below are the conversion tables to be used for D8112 panels set to Horizontal Mode=NO and Horizontal Mode=YES:
