Set Passcode Follows Scope in Command Center Assignments to NO.
Setting the keypad scope to include areas additional to the assigned area allows monitoring events occurring in all areas within the keypad’s scope. However, users with proper authority will arm or disarm all areas in the keypad’s scope by entering [Passcode] + [Enter]. When controlling multiple areas with a passcode is not desirable, set Passcode Follows Scope as NO.
- Passcode Follows Scope is configured under Keypads> Keypad Assignments> Passcode Follows Scope.
- Default setting: Yes.
- Yes - when the keypad’s assigned area is armed, [Passcode] + [Enter] disarms the area and all other areas included in the scope of the keypad. When the area is disarmed, the area and all other areas included in the scope of the keypad are armed.
- No - Allows a user to view areas within the programmed scope, but only arm or disarm the keypad’s assigned area with [Passcode] + [Enter].
