What does Exit Error mean in G series panels?
An Exit Error occurs when a point with a programmed entry delay is faulted while the area is arming but remains faulted throughout the entire arming process.
For example, the exit delay begins when the area is armed. The exit door (delay point) is opened but the point doesn’t restore before the end of the exit delay time. The exit delay time switches to entry delay, and when the entry delay time expires, an ‘Alarm Exit Error’ is generated.
Note that this feature is always enabled and has no configuration parameters.
