When assigning a point function to an input the FPD-7024 or D7024 panel may respond with “PRGRMMD POINTS EXCEED MAX”. This message indicates that more than 20 input points have been assigned a point function using a Programmed Loop Response time.
There are two options when selecting the Loop Response time in a Point Function:
When selecting ‘Programmed’, an entry between 1 and 89 seconds is selected for the point response time. A maximum of 20 points are allowed to be programmed with a response time other than fast. Once this number is exceeded the “PRGRMMD POINTS EXCEED MAX” message will appear.
The following notice may be found in the FPD-7024 or D7024 Installation guides:
Notice!
Up to 20 points can be assigned to point functions that were programmed with a response time other than Fast. If more than 20 points are assigned to functions programmed with a response time other than Fast, then an error message appears: PRGRMMD POINTS EXCEED MAX. Switching a point function from Fast to Programmed can cause this error, depending on how many points reference the point function.
