What are the minimum graphics card requirements/preconditions for FSM Client?
Answer
- Graphics card is Direct3D 9 compatible - Please note that most of server grade hardware does not support D3D.
- Graphics card driver installed: Verify that driver is correctly installed (and latest version). If driver is not installed Windows seems works correctly but it use "Generic VGA Card" or similar driver that do not enable any graphics acceleration, including Direct3D.
- Directx Runtime installed correctly?: Workaround is download and install manually DirectX Runtime (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 )
To check Directx and graphics card capability you can use the dxdiag tool provided with Windows OS.
