How to view the event history log file for troubleshooting Bosch control panels.
- B9512G/B8512G, B-Series and D7412G-GV4/D9412G-GV4 Series panels
B9512G/B8512G and B-Series:
There are two methods of accessing the history log file.
- At the keypad starting from idle text, Press Menu + [7 (Events menu)] + [3 (view log)].
- At the Enter Start Date prompt, press Enter to view the entire log starting from the most recent event. Press Escape to return to the normal text.
- To view the log from a particular starting point, enter the date MMDDYY to start viewing events from the selected date. Press Next to view the next event or PREV to view the previous event.
- At the keypad starting from idle text press [9] + [9] + [Enter]. This process works the same as the method used on older panel types.
- At the Enter Start Date prompt, press Enter to view the entire log starting from the most recent event.
- To view the log from a particular starting point, enter the date MMDDYY to start viewing events. Press Next to view the next event or PREV to view the previous event.
- Press ESC to return to idle text.
D7412G-GV4/D9412G-GV4 Series:
- At the keypad starting from idle text, Press [9] + [9] + [Enter].
- VIEW LOG? Press ENT.
- Note: The Command Menu may be used in place of steps 2 and 3 to initiate this function. Press the MENU key to enter the Command Menu, then press NEXT repeatedly until you reach the VIEW LOG? Press ENT.
- ENTER START DATE
- Press ENT to view the entire log starting from the most recent event.
- To view the log from a particular starting point, enter the date MMDD to start viewing events. Press NEXT to view the next event or PREV to view the previous event. Note that the event/time may take up 2 displays. Continue pressing NEXT to view the rest of the log. END OF LOG will display after the last event in the log.
- Press ESC to return to idle text.
