⚠️ According to the Release Notes at page 8-9:
“The firmware downgrade of a camera running firmware 8.90.0036, or higher, into the version 8.48.0017, or lower, will generate a factory reset of the camera. This limitation is created due to the fact that former versions of firmware were using a different version of Operational System (Android 8). Because of the factory reset, the camera would delete all configuration settings, so in order to prevent our customers to get their configuration deleted without proper awareness we introduced a mechanism that doesn’t allow the downgrade from a firmware using Android 10 to a firmware version based on Android 8”
For the Firmware downgrade process from v8.91 to v8.45, perform the steps from the following guide:

1. Download and upload the below FW:

In case the Error 111 is displayed during the Firmware downgrade process, please proceed with the below steps in order for the camera’s minimum FW to change:
- Access the camera via Web Browser
- From the Service tab, please click on licenses,
- Please copy the below activation key and paste it into the Activation Key field, then please click on set:
- 22-01.86.01-53A537EB-80779FA1-48ECFB88-8F474790-2A5EED92
- Once this is done, the camera should reboot, and the minimum Firmware should be now changed, and you should be able to downgrade to FW 8.45.
2. After camera is downgraded to FW 8.90, please download, and apply the below FW:
