 The  Point/User Flag has been set to YES in Phone and Phone Parameters. Locate the setting in Panel Wide Parameters>Phone and Phone Parameters and set Point/User Flag=No. When Point/User Flag is set to Yes: The control panel sends a "flag" with each report that tells the D6500/D6600 to convert point numbers and User ID numbers to COMEX format.   DS7488 Octal Relay: If installed, the optional DS7488 Octal Relay will provide fixed outputs for predetermined panel conditions. The DS7488 Octal Relay attaches to the keypad bus and must be set for Option Bus Address 9. Octal relay outputs will not operate during the first two minutes after powering up the control panel. The fixed outputs are: - Output 1 - Zone Alarm: Follows any zone alarm (except Silent and Invisible zones). Remains On until the zone restores, the bell cutoff time expires or [PIN] + [Off] is entered. - Output 2 - Zone Trouble: Follows any zone trouble. Latches ON when any zone is in an abnormal condition. - Output 3 - System Reset: Activates for 8 seconds when the [PIN] + [System Reset] command is entered at any keypad. - Output 4 - Panic/Duress: Latches ON when the Panic (C) key is pressed for 2 seconds on any keypad or when a Duress Code is entered into any keypad. The relay is released when the command [PIN] + [Off] is entered at any keypad. - Output 5 - System Trouble: This relay is ON when a system trouble has occurred. Releases when the system trouble is cleared. - Output 6 - Low Battery: The relay is ON during a Low Battery condition. - Output 7 - Partial Arm: In a non-partitioned system the relay is ON when the system is partially armed (Force Arm, Perimeter Arm or zones bypassed). Aux power supplies used to power Independent Zone Controllers (IZC) must be common to the control panel. Connect the negative side of the power supply to Common on the control panel. Without this connection there will be no zone return to the panel. Only use on-board zones or Octopopit zones for Independent Zone Controllers. Any other expansion device will not have a return path for zone negative. End of Line resistors must not be connected on panel points used for Independent Zone Controllers. Termination is provided from the IZC. Bring the Green wire (burg) and/or Yellow wire (panic) directly to the associated On-Board zone or Octopopit zone. Pressing 5 to change codes on 2000 series panels only works when the Change Passcode prompt in the Passcode part of programming is set to Owner & User. Selecting Owner will prevent Users from changing codes by pressing 5. (Selecting Disabled prevents code changes by anyone) To change codes as an Owner, press 6 followed by an Owners code. Select 0 to change codes and then a code to change (1-8). Enter the code and then enter again to complete the change. Next to verify the code is of the correct type press Clear and then 6, wait and let the screen scroll thru the code types.
