The D5060 Direct Connect interface is used as a direct connect interface for connection to Remote Programming Software. The maximum distance that the DX3010 can be remote located from the control panel is determined by whether or not an auxiliary power supply is used. The below chart lists the distance that the DX3010 can be remoted depending on wire gage and whether an aux power supply is used to power the DX3010. The maximum distance that the DX2010 can be remote located from the control panel is determined by whether or not the DX2010 is supplying auxiliary power to devices.   The DX2010 has the capacity to provide 12 VDC at up to 100 mA from the auxiliary Output (+) OUT (-) terminals to power external devices such as motion detectors. If the DX2010 is NOT supolying aux power to devices: Using #22AWG Wire:  1,000'.  Using #18 AWG Wire:  2,000' If the DX2010 IS supplying up to 100mA aux power to devices: Using #22AWG Wire:  100'.  Using #18 AWG Wire:  250' The  DX2010 can be remoted up to 1000 feet from the control panel using 22 AWG wire and 2000 feet on 18 gauge wire.
